Morning!
Just a mini post from me this morning. Its always hard creating a sympathy card, and luckily I haven't had to make more than one or two. I have to admit I had a large lump at the back of my throat when I had to make this one for my friend and work colleague Julie who sadly lost her battle with cancer. Julie herself was a very crafty lady so I knew I had to create something special. I hope she would have liked this.
This is one of my favourite Pink Petticoat releases, it is so versatile. I printed on to kraft card and distressed the edges before stitching onto a plain cream background. I used some adhesive gems and button twine to finish this card. I'm so proud of creating this I am also entering it into the Less is More challenge along with my earlier entry.
Thank you for reading, check back later.
Take Care
Kate

A beautiful card Kate and a most fitting tribute!
ReplyDeleteI know how difficult these cards are to make when they are for personal use.
Thanks so much

Oh Kate this is so beautiful, it's such a shame to have to make cards like this in these circumstances but I think it expresses something more than words can.
